Saturn Sports Show: Greg Smith, Chris Everett 3rd October
West Ham and Millwall are facing F.A. charges after the fracas during last month’s Carling Cup Tie at Upton Park, should both teams play games behind closed doors? I ask the Cabinet Member for Crime and Street scene, Greg Smith, about violence in sport and I get an insight into what police do on match days from Sergeant Chris Everett. Kevin Keegan has just won £2 million worth of damages after his case against Newcastle for constructive dismissal; the Saturn Sports Show has the best reaction to the news. Manchester United v Sunderland and Bolton v Tottenham are the key contests in the Premier League, tomorrow’s programme will update you with every goal and every incident. A panel of sports experts will also preview the Chelsea Liverpool game on Sunday.

Saturn Sports Show: Henry Winter 10th October
Who’s going to fly to South Africa this summer? Saturday’s expert panel decides which England players are going to make the cut and compete in the 2010 World Cup. The Leaders in Football Conference took place at Stamford Bridge this week, where the chief’s of football discussed club debt, TV rights and players wages. Mark Pougatch fore-fronted BBC Radio Five Live’s coverage of the event, and Henry Winter was alongside him offering his opinion in the Vialli-suite-turned-Broadcast studio. I spoke to the Daily Telegraph’s football correspondent the next day, and he offered his view on certain England players, Chelsea’s signing ban and Arsenal’s flourishing new defensive partnership as well as many other topics. He provides superb opinion on some of the topical issues in football today, and you can listen to his thoughts on Saturday. Henry is regarded as the most authoritative Football Journalist in the country – the voice of English Football – and he’s on Saturday’s programme at 3:45 PM. The programme will also take your through England’s game against Ukraine and will look forward to next Wednesday’s tie with Belarus.
